Ajinokakunoya Boiled Scallops

By Ajinokakunoya company founded in 1981, the scallops are from Mutsu Bay, Aomori Prefecture.

The hotate scallops are boiled the same day they are caught to preserve the most umami. 

Add some to salad to enjoy the texture and flavor. It tastes great cooked with rice or stir-fried with butter and soy sauce. When heated too long, the meat becomes firm and the resilient texture may be reduced
